I liked last night's episode. The one sided conversation scene with Coulson and May was great. And it was nice seeing that all the agents are useful in the field (not just Coulson, May and Ward).

Looking forward to next week, with the follow up to Dark Planet.

I also liked the message of "trusting the system" isn't always the best way to go. I thought it was a good episode, but the fact that Simmons never got in any type of trouble for shooting that agent, or accessing a panel she didn't have clearance for kind of bugged me.

Half way through second episode so far.

Show is kinda not great. Geeks will love a lot of things but so far I cannot see the average person caring a great deal.

The guy who runs the team of children just seems like a nanny to me. The 24 year old scientists and other chick are way too young to be taken seriously, and they were desperately going for the young vibe with those actor selections.

The pilot is so flat as to be ridiculous. The captain in Brooklyn 99, as a comparison, is stoic as hell but from time to time you catch a grin and a glint of personality, so it works. This woman is just silly.

Also, the show needs to stop so desperately referring to the battle of New York or stark or anything else it can to say "look, this show is about super heros and the real marvel ones at that!".
Meh, never bothered getting back to it. So much tv these days is watered down shit, it's just not well written.

I watched the all but the latest episode to give it a chance, and I just can't like it. I am even a big Marvel fan.

My biggest annoyance is the hacker girl. Seriously? You are some super hacker that live in your van, are hot, have perfect hair and make up AND have some secret connection to SHIELD which "caused you to become a hacker", yet you wouldn't know SHIELD "classified" the file unless you had hacked looking for it to begin with...

The writing is uninspired (although the suicide mission with just the techy guy and the super agent was okay) and not good. I see this going to way of Firefly and getting canned after one season. The source material had such potential, but I feel they tried to make it the generic super cop show where everyone is special in their own way type of thing.

Why can't we get a show about super government organizations doing super government organization shit without all the garbage "everything is connected" stupid backstory shit?

It returned from hiatus last Tuesday with a pretty interesting episode. The show is getting better. If you dropped it you might want to catch up to last weeks T.A.H.I.T.I.

Yes it is getting very interesting now. Especially since they are bringing in movie characters for some episodes.

What was in the tank?

It can't get interesting. Remember? It should have been cancelled after the 3rd episode. Everyone should have stopped watching it because it's terrible!

Even Helix is starting to stir up some interest. These shows are just beginning to hit their stride. I hope they don't get prematurely canceled.

One of the creatures that attacked New York in the Avengers

It didn't look anything like the aliens in Avengers.

Now that I see them side by side I'm not so sure. It is possible there were more than one race that came thru the portal.
Could it be an Asgardian?

I am assuming that what ever it is, its tied to the movies. Could it be from the next Avengers movie?

Looks like one of the Engineers from Prometheus. Show has been steadily building, plus hacker girl was out cold this episode 😉

I prefer more of Fitz and Simmons than hacker girl, so that was a good thing. Oh, and Simmons is way hotter than hacker girl. I love me some nerd girl.

btw with Cobie Smulders gig on How I Met Your Mother ending I wonder if she will join the cast for next season? Or is she now a big movie star?

Lots of internet buzz saying it's tied to Guardians of the Galaxy and that it's a "Kree."

I guess it makes sense to have the show move forward the plot towards the next movie rather than look back at the first. Thanks for the info.
OH, and MOAR SIMMONS and MOAR LOLA

Another good episode with an unexpected guest star. Things seem to be moving along now. It has the feel like the introduction of the team and its dynamics have been laid out and we are moving into an arc phase.

With Avengers 2 coming out May 2015 we are possibly beginning to see the lead up to it. The series second season will end just as Avengers 2 comes out and its pretty clear that the tv show will act as a lead in.

I'm a big Jaime Alexander fan but I was not impressed with her performance as this weeks guest star. She really didn't seem to handle the fight scenes too well and her dialogue was stunted. They portrayed her much better in the movies. I really hope agent impossibly handsome has the hots for Simmons because I dread seeing a lot more hacker girl. Chloe Bennet started off a singer and this is only her second acting gig, and it shows.

Seeing as how Agent Slab-o'beef is the new Captain Kirk, it'll probably be something absurd rather than Simmons or hacker girl.
