Effective political theater thrown back in their faces. What made it so was the stammering Republicans who sat there with their thumbs up their asses, not sure what to do with a willing, available witness.

When the Dem asked for a vote to question Biden (Moscovitz?), not a single Republican raised their hand. Moscovitz knew that would be the answer, and Hunter knew they wouldn’t question him publicly despite his availability. He called their bluff. They have no intention of holding a legitimate investigation and he knows it.

Nancy Mace, being unable to deviate from her set speech, shows what an intellectually challenged crew the current GOP house is. Absolutely amazing to watch her accuse Hunter Biden of not appearing before Congress while HB is sitting there, in Congress. Moskowitz even offered to vote in favor of the contempt citation for Biden if the GOP members would hold Jordan, McCarthy, Biggs, etc in contempt for failing to respond to subpoenas to the J6 Committee. Good job!

Well, one of the talking heads, don't remember who, brought up something that I thought about also. So when however congress votes to send a contempt charge over to DOJ, why wouldn't they reject it due to Hunter having shown up and requested to testify in public. Especially, when assholes like Mark Meadows and Dan Scavino were never charged!

Even better, payments to Trump that were tracked for this reporting were exclusively the amounts taken from Chinese and SA governments while he was in office, not counting any other Chinese payments (while none of the payments to Hunter were even indirectly linked to Chinese or Ukrainian governments or agents ~ all just businesses).

Oh, and only one of these people was actually, you know, legally obligated to not take payments from foreign governments.

In all the "China" payment smearing from Republicans, they keep glossing over that minor gap that none of the money was actually from Chinese government or government agents, nor was it illegal (other than not filing taxes). And the minor gap that none of it went to President Biden, unlike Mr. Trump, who admits to breaking all of those clauses quite publicly while he was in office.
