This wreaks of a political prosecution. Reason 1,000,001 why Democrats are weak. And they never seem to learn their lesson. They keep thinking only if we bend over more to be more than fair, the Republicans will act fairly. Republicans see them bent over and ____ them up the _____ (trying not to be graphic). Garland was a judge, and had the ability to end this. How does he think this is fair? And I'm not even a Hunter Biden fan.

I agree that Trump would have torpedoed the investigation into his son and not let him be prosecuted, but that's super corrupt and one of the reasons why he lost in 2020. The answer is not for Democrats to be as corrupt as Trump.

That being said, this does seem like the special counsel caving to political pressure and bringing a charge that would otherwise never be brought.

I read that NY times piece about how the plea deal got torpedoed. It wreaked then of political games. Hunter being charged for 2 things that rarely get charged should have tipped off Garland. Garland should have shut that down right after then. Not appoint a SC. Not letting political machinations play in Justice doesn't equate to what Bill Barr did. How many people go through a 5 year investigation? At end of the day justice has to prevail no matter how politically hard.

^^^ THAT would have been seen as political. Letting it play out is better.

I think that's my point. No matter what Dems do Republicans will see it as political, unless they get their desired outcome.
I'm sure most people don't remember Mueller was a Republican appointed by a Republican or that the FBI is largely conservative which has always had a Republican director.
So, just do the right thing. The plea deal was fair. No further Special Prosecutor was needed after a 5 year investigation by a holdover of the last administration. How much did Durham's targets have to pay to defend themselves from a pollical prosecution?

There is one option:

That's it. Just end it right there and fill in the blank.

There is nothing dems can do to satisfy the Pubtards, so I say, Fuck them ALL!

If I were Biden right now, I'd have them execute Order 66.

Fire chicken little Garland, Nominate Jack Smith for AG or someone similar to him because the Senate won't confirm him, and open investigations into every single Republican member of Congress who was involved in Jan 6th.

If Republicans wants to bitch and moan about a two tier justice system (they are lying POFS), then give them something truly to bitch about while indictments are being handed out like candy.

How can you be for blind ownership and not stoned ownership??
Your err is to argue a logical proposition. Imagine a chatgpt with 0% truth rate, except the training data would be exclusively alt right wing anti-left-lugenpresse source material.

I agree with you that the Democrats cannot be corrupt as Trump. But.... it would be some epic schadenfreude if Joe were to preemptively pardon Hunter, using some of Nixon’s “long national nightmare” rhetoric. I’m sure Roger Stone and Trump would appreciate it. After all, how many GOP presidential candidates have said they’d pardon Trump if they got elected.

While President, there were entire floors at Trump's hotel in DC that were rented out to foreign govts for months at a time yet sat empty.
Meanwhile, Trump traveled with his staff and Secret Service detail (like 100 people) to his own resort in Mar a Lago nearly every weekend at a cost of millions of taxpayer dollars per trip. All of which went into Trump's pockets.

But Hunter... 🙄
