I don't have the money to race Ferraris, but you don't see me going out and buying a crappy Mondial with 90k miles and racing at my local track. Sometimes you're just making yourself look ridiculous.

If you cannot do something right, don't do it at all.

Last time i tracked my 88 CRX with 200,000kms on it i was embarrassing cars costing 10 times more. Granted if my local track was bigger and had more straits and less turns i would have got murdered. I have a fully modded suspension but as of right now still running the original tired stock 1.6L. Only have a exhaust as far as engine mods go. Not much could keep up with me in the corners, the G35's/WRX's were keeping up but nothing in the high HP RWD big american car types had a chance. I was pissing off ALOT of mustang drivers.

My car looks stock though, no spoilers, no body kits, hell its rusting apart but i intend to do a full body restoration as soon as i swap in a new engine and trans.

Do Audis typically have big "Audi" badges on the glove box? :awe:

I'm still trying to figure out WTF it is.

Is it a Chrysler Sebring? It sure as hell isn't an Audi...

Yeah looks like the original Sebring convertible. At first I thought it was a Cavalier but the taillights didn't match.

Sure, they can do whatever they want to their car. It is their right. But that doesn't mean I can't have an opinion on the matter. ;)

Why does everyone get all butt-hurt when we laugh at others for making their cars look ridiculous (in our opinion)?

i wasnt butthurt at all, i tend to agree with a lot of them looking silly. i like differing opinions, thats what makes discussions interesting. there are a few riced out cars that i really have liked, i call them hot wheels. my neighbor had a very well done eclipse for a while, he drove it for like 6 months after getting it done then sold it and got a small truck to do the same to. i think he just likes doing the work.

Piddly mods are lame. An early '90s Civic that has a well tuned aftermarket suspension and racing tires is amazingly fast around an autocross course.
