It will be interesting how the military use the SF. I still think even a small group of "Mughideen" would be beyong the normal capabilities of SF, which aren't designed to exchange fire for durations before they pull-out, and considering the terrain it will be hard. Training Northern Afgan fighters to fight with SF is not realistic, the SF will not accept it.

Any non-orthodox unit is considered "Special Forces". The label really doesn't mean much except to the hollywood cretins. Specific units of the US Army have been adapted for each potential theatre of war.
