go to the guides section at the top, look at the most recent top of the line buying guide. actually, theyre due for a more recent one any day now, so id wait for that. just off the top of my head, heres something to look at:

This guy is a IDIOT!!!, the FX is a waist of hard earned money, get a socket 939 Athlon 64 unless you have the money or just fancy the overpriced FX series.

Your system would not be able to take advantage of no more then even 1 GB of RAM much less 3!!!!! That much XMS would cost a fortune

it dosent matter about dual channel on an fx 55...if you get 3 gigs of 'corsaer' xms, then you will have 16 channels

Sorry, Dual channel is it, not 3 not 4 not 5 not 16. He must be confused with width which is 8 Bit on SDR and DDR memory and I supose cause he thinks its "dual" he must think its 16, LOL!!!! he apparently tossed that together in his mind and straight up lied to you, or spoke with a lack of knowledge which he did during his entire RETARDED statement.
