Before you guys shoot the messenger over the content of the ads - Anandtech sells its ad space to a broker, who then cycles the ads through. Speaking of ad content, I just got cycled in a banner for Match.com or something along those lines with some woman in a matching leopard-print bra-and-panty set.

I wonder if a mod or someone is going to give an update on the situation. I honestly don't have the problem anymore, but others are still experiencing popups, ads and what not.

Flash banners can easily spawn popups without any complication, and that might be what we're seeing here.

Firefox blocked one that I got, the other was a tribalfusion pop-under. I hate those.

AnandTech has dealt with this before. I expect they'll fix it again this time, give 'em a chance. I haven't seen a single one yet, not even the lady in the leopard-print outfit
