does it stop crashing in FF? for some reason any 11.4 version I tried it kept crashing.
11.3 worked fine.

Flash, don't resist... go towards the light.

I got fed up with the constant upgrade cycle and reverted to a version of 10 a few months back which supposedly combined the latest security with older features. I guess it does not have the sandboxy thing. Feature-wise, I haven't particularly noticed any difference for a long time besides belatedly including hardware acceleration and again belatedly including an actual control panel. I tend to download any vids over a minute or so of duration for optimal viewing on the player and display of my choosing. Embedded video is generally counter productive for the user. Flash is not required to download but not having the option of browser playback is less than ideal.

Got the Flash update. You have to really be alert and uncheck the small checkbox that would put you in the Chrome camp and ruin all your existing links. Insidious bastards! I hate sneaky software snakes!

-just a duh question , but I use both IE [work] and FF ,do you install both ?
-noticed windows live mail very slow on this build , just wondering if it's because IE does not have AFP for IE.

ok thanks

-update
IT works first time today when opening Windows Live Mail that the pic's in the emails opened ,with out hanging up for 2 minutes. after the system booted up.
-also part of the back story[1] is that for over a month off and on trying to fix the FF flash hang when going to the steam store ,added \removed downgrade to 10.0 ,tried adobes update commands ,it now works but I can't understand how IE did not get updated unless it needs to be the default .

-back story [2] at the same time I started to have Flash issues , I went from DSL to Fiber so a new internet connections MAIL ACC . settings [same account],so I was looking at this being a networking problem also [it wasn't]

-all is fixed now thanks for posting the links that got me thinking about IE and flash , but still can't find it listed in IE.

Anyone else have problems with the automatic updater? I have that option set but it still has not updated. I think I'll just have to do it manually.

Mine is set to Notify when new updates are available. And it doesn't do that properly either.
