Walking home drunk sucks. Plus if I left my car overnight it would be towed.

<<

<< Yep a few times, but I only live 5 blocks from 6th St. >>

so... why not walk home then? i've walked a LOT farther then that...

Yes yes. I did not know where I was going but I eventually reached home. My friend was half hanging himself outside the window puking his guts out.

Its strange how a handful of the people saying yes try to justify it to the rest of us (perhaps to themselves?).

"Yes, but it was only [insert distance here]!"

"Yes, but I only had [insert number of drinks here]!"

That said, yes I have as well.

less than 5 time in college.

In Greece however, I drove drunk every night for 2 weeks straight. I was on a tiny island in the Med,
and we had no other choice. I was more of a danger to myself since there were virtually zero cars
at 3am on the road given the windy roads and cliffs everywhere.

I am not proud of driving drunk... but driving after you have had a few drinks is doable. Its when you
convince yourself that would can drive, when you can't even stand up, is when you get into trouble.

oh yea. . . expensive lesson on why not to drink & drive. Burnt out the clutch on my 3000GT driving home drunk one nite. . . . $1300 dollars to fix. That'll stop you from drinking & driving real quick.

I never drink when I need to drive. Sometimes drink a lot if I don't have to drive though.

We usually have a designated driver every time, and the person is only allowed to drink lite beer.

Yes, actually used to quite frequently. Not now lately, cos I don't have my license. But yeah, most of my group of friends do as well...one just got done for DD, going to court tomorrow.

Stands back and awaits all the flames....(at least I'm being honest here fellas!)
