I was addicted at one point in my life... probably for at least 2 years. My sophomore year in college to my senior year. I've been playing for over 4 years but don't find the time to play much these days. I made it to the upper dregs of cal-m back in the day. Then I moved on to medical school and lost the free time :/Originally posted by: J0hnny
I was, and I got off the addiction completely, so much so that I've lost track of what's out there. I played only a few times after they released the whole steam thing.
However, I just got a new computer and I want to test my abilities again. I heard that the new Counterstrike requires Half Life 2 because of the new engine. Is this true? Can I buy HL2 and then download the counterstrike add-on? What's the deal?
