You guys know of any adaptors out there that would convert an existing 12V source (4-pin molex, 6-pin AUX, etc) to a 4-pin 12V ATX connector? My buddy is building a monster rig with a dual socket Supermicro board that requires an 8-pin EPS connector and a 4-pin ATX connector. Stupid me didn't realize that some boards required both connectors (always though it was either one or the other) so I didn't even check when I recommended a nice 850W Silverstone PSU to him. Brilliant, I know, but now I need to help him find an adaptor. Any ideas?

It is the X7DAE. Here is a direct quote from the product page "To ensure system stability, a 500W (minimum) ATX power supply
[4-pin (+12V), 8-pin (+12V) and 24-pin are required]"

The ST85F has the correct array of connectors. The ST85ZF does not.

I would check to see if the P4-12V and 2x4pin connectors on the mobo are really isolated (measure the resistance between the yellow pins of one connector to the yellow pins of the other connector). If the resistance is substantially higher than zero, then separate connectors are needed.

IAC, one of these should work:

Thanks Zepper. That is what I was looking for.
