These cards retail for about $170 at the cheapest places but, at our fine Staples store, they are only about $30 ea. (this is a 10 pack) using a well known coupon code.

Anyone want to give it a try??? :)

Looking at Staples for them now. If I can find them and get the order at that price, I'll sell you one for $40 shipped. Before the rest of you ask, if I get these, they are going to fleabay. Looked right now, and a used one closing on the 18th is already up to about $70. I'll take that gamble (let's see, 8 sold at $80+ . . . cool).

ADAPTEC 19160 KIT ULTRA160 SCSI 1CH MAN NT EZ SCSI CABLE
Category MASS STORAGE DEVICES/ Subcategory DRIVE CONTROLLERS
Platform Personal Computer

This is the information straight from Ingram Micro's reseller web site.

If you notice the staples part number IM1445283

Take off the IM1 and you get the Ingram Micro number, the staples numbers starting with IM are really drop ships from Ingram Micro.

So we look at the real Ingram number of 445283 and you see that they are pulling up the single Adaptec 19160 Ingram pricing. Now seeing as how they have it mismarked as the Ingram Part Number 445284 you can probably argue this with them to get the right item, however they probably order straight from the Ingram Number they will show listed, meaning that you will most likely get the Single 19160 not the 10 pack when it gets delivered. That means it's up to you to argue it out with staples.

Anyways hope this helps, and wasn't too confusing.

Oh yeah, also notice only 40 available, I'd give you what shipping centers they were in, but the ingram US site just went down, hehe. You guys probably put in so many orders that if it is automated you killed it. ROFL

Straightforward typo. Ingram part # for a single unit, and that is exactly what they will drop ship to you. If you try to argue that it's supposed to be a 10 pack, you're SOL, because the error is clearly covered under the "not responsible for typo, etc." language on their website. Even if your receipt says "10 pack" it's still a typo, and Suckles will treat it as such.

I'd strongly suggest NOT wasting the time on this because you'll have to deal with the return to Staples, not the most pleasant experience.

Obviously, if the product SKU matches Ingram, you have no chance in hell that Ingram will drop ship you a 10 pack, which leave you only one option, to argue with Suckles... I can hear the laughter now...

worst case scenario: they send 1 card, i return it to local staples
best case scenario: they send 10 cards, I sell them for a profit hehehehe (the laughter you're hearing)

You know, if you request a return from Staples and don't yet get around returning it to your local Staples, after a few weeks, Staples will send someone to pick it up. Full refund too. So it doesn't hurt to try, but I doubt this will work.
