Ran into a problem with ad that won't scroll away, shows just blank page, with a footer that says content continues below. Except the only place I can scroll to is the foot of the page.

This is on Android Chrome.

Just came to post the same thing. Ad on mobile covering entire display us back, this time a bestbuy one.

Only reason I was able to post this message is by stopping the page mid load before ad obscures everything.

This seems to happen with one ad or another every few weeks or months on this site. It was a Folgers coffee one last time. I don't get why it keeps happening.

Same issue here. Agree that it seems to be a Best Buy ad. Gald to see a tech site continues to be unable to handle this

I'm using Edge (on a desktop) and get a TalkTalk advert that is in the wrong place and prevents clicking on anything else once its loaded.

:D

I am able to view the forum and post content on android using edge or firefox.

For firefox, before going to anand tech website, go to the drop down setting that looks like "..." BUT VERTICALLY. Select view Desktop Site. Then go to Anand Tech forum website, and it will load good.

For Edge, load anand tech website, then select the menu "..." and select View desktop site.

When I click 'agree', I of course mean 'had the same thing happen'. Only happens on certain browsers on certain computers, oddly. Firefox seems not to be affected, but Chrome and Edge both unusable.

Same here. The pop-up ads block the whole mobile webpage. Google Chrome. Not always, but a lot of times.

Yeah, switch to desktop mode could have solved the problem, but it's not the way it should be, the forum software just should handle it properly.

Some new ad doing it on mobile again cant give any details as it only shows as a large black screen blocking 95 percent of the page.

If anyone else sees a new ad blocking site access, please let us know. We're investigating the previous ad already. If it turns out to be the same ad, hopefully we can address it soon.

Seriously the entire page was a black ad with no way to exit it. Tried three times then used the adblock browser.. sigh.. I enjoy small ads that remind me of the things i have searched for but full page ad u cant close??? Maybe time to find a new site

I suspect that's w hat's been plaguing me with my iPad and the Safari-based Chrome browser that doesn't allow ad-block to be added to it. Sucks Glad to have that option on the desktop.

Getting this on my iPhone 6s using Safari. Giant ads block the entire page. I don’t like to post from my phone, but I’d really like to be able read from it.

This one won't go away, not even when I hit the close box on the ad
