You know, the companies with commercial themes that go on a *little* too long. Could be past or present. Here's a few of mine:

Dell dude (thank god it's over)
Mastercard 'priceless' commercials
The Chik-Fil-A cows

Those IBM commercials are starting to get on my nerves. It was funny the first few times that I've seen them, but it seems that they have been replaying the same damn 4 commercials during the entire NCAA tournament.

Car commercials playing loud rock music.

... Actually, I did read somewhere that the rock music being played on car commercials is actually increasing sales for the vehicles.

they are in the process of opening the 4th subway in my little city of 30,000 people!!!! that is ridiculous...each subway is no more than a 2 minute drive from each other.

'subway- you must eat here...we take over your city'

Actually, about 15 years ago, Subway franchises could be purchased for on $8,000. I'm not sure how much the current franchise fee is. However, I do know that several owners are quite pissed because Subway is not regulating how far apart individual franchises should be placed - so some franchises are cannibalizing others. :(

ALL OF THEM!!!

Well, all except one. Almost every long-running ad campaign is usally old, tired and universally hated long before it gets taken off the air. My God, I'd personally like to kicks that Dell dudes scrawny @$$, grind the Wendy's lady into beef so she'd stop asking about it and strangle the Tasters Choice couple with a used coffee filter. And the less said about the damn Taco Bell chihuahua the better, that was funny for about 3 seconds. The one and only long-running campaign where I'm actually happy to see a new commercial is ESPN's "This is Sportscenter".

This is funny. I grew up in the land of advertising. I even wrote copy while in college. (now, hopelessly unemployed in the IT sector - because I thought it was "better" than marketing/advertising. lol)

My dad says something about advertising that has stuck with me all this time. Good or bad, an ad campaign is successful if you can remember the product. Even if you hate the campaign, you might reconsider the product because you can identify it by name while comparing it against something else. If you can't rmember what the ad is selling, then they just blew all that money on air.

The taco bell dog. Cool for awhile now re-cool because of the tie-in with the GEICO gekko.

The Truth and Stand.org ads. If you need a commercial to tell you that smoking ain't all that great for you, I think you have bigger problems in life to worry about.

The other cereals are also anoying.

Lucky Charms
Cinnamin Toast Crunch (As if kids think that's funny. Even when it had three cooks they sucked)
Frosted Flakes (They're not so "Greeeeaaat!")
Fruity F@#!n' Pebbles! (HOW LONG? Many kids don't even recognize the Flintsones as being from anything else...)
