Your TL couldn't even TURN a circle around a 325i. :p
And when did you take your test drive?

Ahem.

I actually found a Burgundy '02 for $12K..not sure what I am going to go with:D

That was some mighty fine ownage btw:p

That is a good deal, what's the catch?

Miles? Transmission? Is it the S type?

acutally it is the type S 80k miles...auto tranny though:( I realize that there are supposed to be some tranny issues so, naturally, I am suspicious as well:p

I beg to differ!! If anyone was owned, he owned himself. He had the choice, but ultimately went with the Acura.

The TL has a 40 foot turning radius. That's what I was getting at. Ever notice how difficult it is to maneuver in a parking lot? An '04 Suburban has a turning radius of 42 feet. I mean, come on.

I needed a car to commute 60 miles a day, reliably and with good fuel economy, so I started looking at Hondas. I ended up getting the top model Honda, as you can see. I have a muscle car (truck) and a slick Euro for my fun days. They'll both eat the Honda's lunch in acceleration, handling, etc.

My idealistic side says you are 100% correct.

Yup, I went and drove a BMW 540i at the time. Then I thought, hey, save the $20k, get the Honda, and you can get a used Euro for your third car.

Might have to become a one car guy for the new v10 M5 though. *drool*

Well, when I was getting a new car, I sold my Volvo to my neighbor. Not too long later, they couldn't afford the maintenance on it, so I bought it back as my third car. Dropped about $4000 into modifications on it, ended up doing this a few months ago: Walked away though.

Last month I picked up this: Like new. Just gotten started on it, only about $2k into mods, plan on pushing it up to about 310whp.

I have more pics of... well, everything mentioned, if they're wanted.

The Acura TL will likely be our next family car. It's an unbeatable value for the money. Strong performance, looks, interior accomodations, and reliability.

The major downside to the car is that it is a gussied up Honda Accord. It rolls off the same assembly line, and this fact is very obvious from a casual exterior or interior inspection. But that said, they don't charge all that much more than what they do for an Accord, and the extra appointments you get are worth the cost.

The fully loaded v6 Accord had a higher sticker than my TL S-type did. :Q But the Accord had a Nav system, and I don't.

Holy isht that missed you by a couple of inches. What the hell hit you... or what the hell did you hit?

I like Volvos and all... and that's a nice clean one you got there, but seeing as how you're still BMW's walking PR machine, you must like punishing yourself by still not getting one. I would sell all three cars and get the most expensive BMW I can afford. :p

I was getting a little spirited with my new, multi-thousand dollar imported suspension. I let off the gas going over a hill and around a corner, the front tires suddenly grabbed like a madman, the rear end kept going the direction it was going, I slid 3 or 4 times, struck a phone pole. It was stupid, I hadn't had the suspension in for a week, and wasn't used to it enough to be going like that.

Like I said earlier in the thread, I may get rid of them all to get a new v10 M5. But I doubt it. My cars are so varied, it makes things interesting.
