You also have honda reliability and acura service, two things that I personally am very interested in, as I'm coming off a nightmare lease with my VW (horrible reliability, and even worse dealerships).
hell, might as well buy a kia optima, it has everything standard too!

a TT is almost 2 seconds faster than a corolla 0-60 and a second faster 1/4.

That has got to be the single stupidest comment in this thread

Anyway, I'm done with this thread. Its a waste of my time to argue with a bunch of people who are clearly so closed minded, who HAVE never, and most likely WILL never even bother to take it for a drive before just dismissing it.

no, i'm just pointing out that just because the featureset is similar doesn't mean that the quality level is the same

I hate those he/she reviews.

I like them. Gives you a more personal look at the car from two different perspectives. Often "she" brings comments to light that I would have never thought of.
I guess so, but "she" often has somewhat pointless comments as well. The main thing I don't like is the "humorous" writing style which is totally unfunny, like the "sock" gag in this one.

Yeah, sometimes they can be corny, but it's nice to have a break from the usual boring reviews I read.

Speaking of bad reviews, have you ever been to nctd.com (New Car Test Drive)? Their reviews are generally pretty short and lacking content, but the main problem is that it seems to me that EVERY SINGLE REVIEW is a rave... they seem to gloss over any shortcomings and rave about anything positive. It's pretty ridiculous, and I always wonder if they are in the car companies' pockets.

I caught the Acura TSX commercial the other night. What I found kind of funny was that the car in the commercial was revving - and the revs sounded like the car had a V-6 in it and not a 4-banger. I guess the "Acura Marketing Machine" has enhanced the sound during the commercials to make it appear like the TSX has more balls than it actually does. :(
