If he wins lets just hope he doesn't die because that twit he has for a running mate is no way even close to being qualified intellectually to be President.

The 'crats are starting to really sound panicky ... all that money spent, and still such a close race, whodathunk it?

The race isn't all that close.

That's my biggest concern about McCain now. Palin was governor of a state with the population of Fort Worth, Texas, she's given no indication she's intelligent, thoughtful or would be good at her job, and she could very well end up being President of the United States.

You're saying that's not a valid point? Do YOU think Palin would make a good President?

As if further evidence was needed of the phenomenon that is "Joe the Plumber" (however brief it may be), there comes this e-mail advisory:

Real Toledo Area Plumbers to Hold Press Conference to Express Their Grave Concerns with Senator McCain?s Economic Policies

The message goes on to advise that in Northwood, Ohio, today "members of Local 50 Plumbers, Steamfitters and Service Mechanics" will not only take questions but "share their concerns with several of Sen. McCain's proposals, including his plan to tax employer-based healthcare insurance, his tax proposal which favors the wealthy over working Ohioans and other issues that will impact working families."

The gathering takes place shortly before a scheduled McCain appearance in nearby Westerville, Ohio.

Joe the Plumber -- aka Samuel "Joe" Wurzelbacher -- lives close to both events. No word on whether the fellow McCain thrust into the spotlight as an iconic working stiff (but who, as it turns out, is not an officially licensed plumber) will make it to either.

Well there's some breaking news. A labor union coming out in defense of the Demotardic party. What's next? News that most blacks in this country will also vote Democrat? The base of the party is supporting the party, what a shocker. Fear mongering by the Demotards continues to work.

Joe the Plumber actually had the audacity to question The Messiah. He has the nerve to aspire to something greater and question how a tax policy wouold affect him and for his trouble he has been lambasted by the media and the empty suit's minions.

Problem is, Joe the plumber would actually benefit more from an Obama administration than a McCain one, even after buying his small business. He is just so much of an idiot and a partisan to realize that. (and a liar too)

Compared to Obama? Absolutely! Shes more qualified and is 10x the reformer Obama claims to be.

For a plumber to be making $250,000 a year he has to be charging $120.00 an hour if he works/charges for 40 hours a week and works all 52 weeks a year.

Even if we say he works 60 hours a week, every week of the year with no vacation, his rate works out to $80.00 per hour. That is rather steep for an independent plumber. And for people to hire him at those rates he would have to be exceptionally good.

Something does not add up. There's more to his story than has been revealed.

Anyone know what union plumbers make?

Seriously, some of you guys need to pay attention to what the man actually said.

he said he would LIKE to BUY A PLUMBING BUSINESS that would make over $250,000 a year. A plumbing business, meaning, he would have several plumbers working for HIM.

Sorry, I phrased that question badly. I'm asking about the real world, not Republican fantasy land.

Didn't Nixon hire some really high paid 'Plumbers' for the Watergate Leak Repairs?

Joe might want a referal from them, seems there are some questionable 'connections'.

Oh, and one doesn't have to be "licensed" or part of a plumber's union to be an "Actual" plumber.

But this whole thing sure is a nice attempt at distracting people from what BHO said...

I see no distraction, he will spread your wealth

Ok my mistake. I assumed he was a plumber who was going to make $250,000.00.

Well then he is a small businessman. Can't really call him a plumber. Why is everyone calling him Joe the Plumber instead of Businessman Joe?

Because Joe is currently A PLUMBER!

And I would like to own IBM...but a guy who's on $40k/yr and hasn't yet paid his back taxes isn't REALLY in the market for any business, let alone one that makes 6.25x more than he is now.

This coming from a right wing zealot who blames the dems in Michigan for the problems we have had for years. You have ZERO credibility loser.

Michigan has been run by Dems for decades, overall. I don't place the blame on them 100%, but their policies over the last 5 years have only worsened the situation.

As far as credibility goes, well, coming from a guy who blindly supports the policies of those who have worsened the situation here in Michigan, well, frankly, it doesn't surprise me one bit.
