If this guy's name was Mohammed Ali, he would at the very least be called "suspected Islamist extremist."

Nah, he would have dodged better...

I hope conservatives will examine terrorist attacks like this with the same level of scrutiny as to the underlying ideology as they do with other terrorist attacks.

I have very little confidence they will.

Why, you planning on defending them with the same level of zeal?

If there's a support group for this guy's violence then let's hear about it. Let's define what responsibility means and the necessary efforts that are involved in countering the threat posed.

I don't defend perpetrators of terrorism.

Are you getting excited with all the juicy new bits of information to use against those you disagree with on general topics? What a fun time to be informed! Keep reading!

Why? Are the jumping to conclusions, the speculation, the knee-jerk reactions, starting to get to you? Do you find it disturbing? Do you find yourself wondering how people can get so riled up with so much hate and group think?

Now imagine that reaction happening repeatedly, imaging democrat politicians feeding that with ridiculous rhetoric, imagine politicians crating policies based on these over reactions. How do you feel now?

That's what your side looks like, that's how ridiculous you sound and all we can do is show you a mirror because you can't be reasoned with.

Wow, all the baseless leftist spin about this guy. It's just like when that Roof kid shot up the church in SC and libruls were saying it was because he was racist when he clearly did it because he hates Christians or for some other reason completely unrelated to rightwing attack rhetoric. :colbert:

I can't help it if Righties believe in crazy shit & if some of them are crazier than others.

Absorbing right wing propaganda into one's belief system is like drinking. Some people can't hold their liquor & do crazy shit.

Oh, and people who drank the same amount of booze & think they're sober are lying to themselves. They get all touchy about when anybody points that out, of course.

You realize that they're doing that to mock all the RWN's and the media who immediately assumed that Paris was committed by terrorists disguised as Syrian refugees, right? Even though it wasn't?
There's an obvious double standard being applied here.

no they are not.

They think they are mocking, but the reality is what they post is what they believe.

White man = evil; Christian, even worse worse in the minds of the resident lefties.

Paris was still caused by Islamic terrorists was it not? ISIS is made up of radical Islamist is it not?

The left here will deny that. Because those people hate the white man, and that is good.

Show me where anyone has denied that. There's plenty of threads. Find me one example.

What people will say is they aren't representative of the 1.6 billion Muslims on the planet. The millions in the United States. And if they are, then these repeated right wing ideologues are equally representative of all right wing ideologues.

It's really that simple.

what the crap is all this mumbled bullshit?

This hippie loathes terrorists no matter the skin color, religious extremists tend to be loose cannons no matter which god they worship.
It's not fucking rocket science.

You're still missing the point. As I tried to point out above - it doesn't matter what religion he belongs to - this is not what true Christians OR true Muslims believe in - they don't believe in violence like this. But one party in the US seems to love to paint all Muslims with a broad brush whenever any Muslim commits an atrocity like this. As soon as you imply that it's someone in the right wing who did this, they get offended. I.e., it went over your head that such rhetoric is offensive and worse than useless - it creates more divisiveness in our nation and in the world. Everyone should be coming together to solve these problems. One group in the U.S. seems hell bent on preventing that.

WRONG

One party completely ignores the Muslim connection. One part says lets not ignore the common thread in world wide terrorism.

every fucking thread that deals with Muslim terrorist.

If someone says theres a connection to Islam they are automatically branded a racist.

Mean while every lefty on these forums works over time to deny a connection.

Open your eyes. Move beyond your built in bias, and you'll see it.

The left here wont, their too full of hate for everyone that doesn't think like they do.

Here's a tip for ya...

This thread is about the "Active shooter in Colorado Springs" and it is telling that you're driving the conversation to ... Muslims!

LOL, no, don't ever try and "fix my post," because you don't speak for me.

Speak to the topic, and stop attacking people.

Oddly, there's been more acts of terrorism in the U.S. caused by right wing extremists than by Muslims.

They are really two sides of the same coin of natural disaster. The law of the land/nation/majority of people is meaningless to them compared to the law of their imaginary being in the sky as told to them by a few influential religious leaders.

That's just your guilty conscience. Two weeks ago, you blamed an entire major religion -- even the children -- for what happened in Paris. So now, of course, you're paranoid and afraid of being done unto as you have done unto. Quit being such a dbag to everyone who isn't just like you, and you'll have less to worry about.
