The best advice I can give you is to have a large working area (LARGE!). Follow the instructions step by step. If you don't understand what its telling you, stop, read it again, make a close visual inspection of the area. Don't be afraid to lift a couple of things up if theres like a screw or something you can't see, but don't use too much force.
When you're unscrewing things, make sure you break your work up in steps. At the beginning of each step, use a different section of your workspace to store screws. This way, you can reassemble it step by step, and if you have an extra screw from one step, you won't put the whole thing back together and realize there's an extra screw and be like 'WTF, where does this go?'
Bottom line, keep it simple, RTFM and above all else, KEEP IT ORGANIZED!!!
After you do it, you will feel a lot more comfortable about it. Taking a laptop apart isn't hard, it's just a lot of work.
