his title is CRM consultant on linkedin.
see the thing is, his cousin was working for Accenture in management consulting (not sure on the specific field) and apparently the guy was making 125k+ after 3 years or so.
Nah it was fair enough that I was studying with him when he got a phone call with his offer in college and he told me his starting salary. When I got my offer a while later I told him my starting. I'd rather not ask specifics at this point because I don't want to ruin a friendship.. the guy is wildly more successful than I am and I don't want the friendship to change if we both know he's making 50k more than me.
well the thing is that his first job itself was pretty damn good.. it was one of those 3 year rotational leadership development programs. business IT is quite different from regular IT if I'm not mistaken. you don't get many people with fake resumes in that industry because if you don't have people skills you won't survive. I thought he could be at 90-100k+ at this point because management consulting is not at all easy to get into, especially when you're applying for positions in NYC where the competition is pretty ridiculous
Nah he's lived in NJ his whole life and was lucky enough to find his starting job in NYC so he's been commuting. He saves a ton of money living at home with his mom.
$85k-150k with a likely average of $116k for a CRM manager with Accenture in NYC.
Lol I padded my last review from glassdoor by 30k just because I didn't like the company I was working for.
From my experience with interviewing with companies in NYC is that they don't take into consideration the high cost of living much. It's what you're currently making plus a percentage increase usually 10-15%.
CRM is very lucrative right now. I have a small amount of CRM experience on my resume. Each week, recruiters contact me about CRM developer and analyst positions. The devs can easily make up to 120,000 in non-NYC places. Managers can make more.
