My university has it's own dental office. I get dental work really cheap, and not by students!

Just a cleaning can be from $50-$150 but x-rays are a few hundred on top of that for the first visit, and if you have any cavities they cost like $200-$500 each to repair.

Why not? My insurance thinks it's needed enough they'll pay for it every 8 months. I only pay $60 out of my pocket.

Every dentist I've been to recommended X-rays every 12 months (i.e. every other visit), and that's what my dental insurance plans have always covered.
