How would I go about doing this? What setting in the BIOS is this? I have the Asus K7V with an AWARD BIOS. If this doesn't work maybe i'll go for the Athlon Liberator 2 GFD.

Thanks guys for doing the research on this (presumably just for me? 🙂) Anyways I'll tell you what I find. I hope we all learn a little something from this.. 🙂 And thanks once again for helping me so much

Well.. I disabled my L2 cache in the BIOS and it still wouldn't POST. Either it's not disabling it correctly (or not completely) or it's something else. Could it be my Voodoo 3 AGP? I don't know but it seems that it might be something other than the L2 cache.

Jgtdragon- I don't think his cache is the problem, it is most likely a low tolerance to FSB bumping. Even if he has the cheaper cache that will not go over 350, he would not hit 350 at 2/5 cache until 950...

<<it is most likely a low tolerance to FSB bumping... >>

If thats the case, the only way to get it higher is with GFD to change the multiplier.
