When you have a faulty hardware like motherboard, you phone the company where you purchased the product from & they will normally give you a Return Merchandise Authorisation Number(RMA) so you can send it back as faulty.(note you can still send it back if it`s not faulty, so long as you have a RMA number from the company, some companies let you send products back without RMA number but it`s best to get one).

MassMhz:

What is this GIBBO205 guy a god to you or something? Fastest AMD setup in the world huh, well I guess not. The fastest AMD Tbird setup is clocked at 1900MHz, not on an Abit, on a Gigabyte, it wasnt somebody from UK, it was somebody from Japan. If you're going to tell a lie at least make it sound right.

I doubt the performance difference is significant. Overclocking and performance doesnt mean everything either. If those are the only two areas you evaulate a motherboard, well its not very difficult to see why you would choose Abit(even though it overclocks no better than MSI).

Doesnt matter what you say, Abit is not the best, MSI is.

Abit has good mainboards with the exception of the crap BP6 it was the only MB locking up quite easyily (all of my 3 BP6) with some nonworking HPT366 onboard

"Im just being really tired of people like ArchAngle777 who have absolutley no idea what they're talking about, of course, they would never admit that they're wrong.

Yeah, we all know how easily LXi will admit he is wrong...:p

CQuinn:

Of course, you are right, it cannot end this discussion, and it WAS an arrogant statement.

I do not speak for every system professional, and to assume that i do was also arrogant.

I am sorry for that, i will try to be more humble in the future.

Thank you for the feedback.

Patrick, while you're here, educate this poor soul why HiPoint controllers suck more than Promise.

I really do not like either of them, but if i had to make the choice, it would be Promise for obvious reasons, namely:

More stable, and more compatible with other hardware, including HDD's.

Better RMA/DOA rates.

Higher quality.

Better drivers.

(are there more reasons? do you need more?)

The Promise is the better choice, as you will probably learn if you talk to enough people about those controllers.

LXI,if you look, you will see that i did not say anything about the fastest AMD based sys.I said the fastest 1 GIG AMD,and NO i did not EDIT it in as you can look at the dates to prove that, you just missed it.No man is GOD,so he is no god to me.Jesus Christ is my GOD!I was only stating the facts available to me.You also insist on calling me a liar, which couldn't be further from the truth.I'm not trying to create enemies here, but you are needlessly offensive in your posts. You asked someone not to reply to you in that manner above, why don't you take your own advice;)In response to the part of your reply about doubting the effects of overclocking and judging accordingly, the original topic asked about this in specific so it is relevant!

The thing Im spreading is the truth, whether you take that as gold or crap, its your business. Since you dont seem have anything productive to say, my advice is just to stay out this thread.
