In my opinion, this isn't as bad as their anti-Asian shirt.
Yeah, the Asian one was pretty bad...I mean, it's of course their right to sell such a shirt, but I'm wondering which marketing genius came up with the idea.

Actually, losing most of the Asian market hurt its sales.Originally posted by: pyonir

one that likes to feed on people's idiocy. I'm sure they sold WAY more shirts than if they had made it PC friendly.

Figures?
I'll be they picked up a LOT of people of other cultures because of that shirt...i doubt it hurt sales.
Sure shows that they aren't losing money. Stock price doesn't show anything in the way of how a certain shirt sells. Maybe they lost money on a different shirt..and selling more of the non-PC ones made up for it.Originally posted by: SP33Demon

Stock price.
It's current levels are the same as May 03. I wouldn't call that much of any progress.

He didn't say anything about how a shirt would sell. He was saying how much of a chunk the asian market makes up for A&F's revenue.
Well, in all actuality, A&F did pull all of the Asian ones off the market and apologized. So it wasn't as big a hit on PR as it could have been. However, there are many Asians that I know who refuse to still buy from them. FWIWOriginally posted by: pyonir
Stock price doesn't show me that either. Are you trying to tell me that the Asian market makes up a significant portion of AF's revenue? If the stock price has held steady for the last year and a half, and the "offensive" shirt came out during that time...then it wouldn't be enough of a portion to effect their sales.
Lol 😉 Anything related to rednecks or trailers?
