Apple makes good phones and tablets no doubt but I think long-term they are a one trick pony. Their margins are going to get squeezed. It'll still be profitable if it can be popular but they have nowhere to invest all their cash booty into new products. Thats not good for them IMO.

My totally uninformed opinion.

You're right. Given that they have no R&D budget whatsoever and all the important companies like What'sApp get bought by Facebook, they're reduced to buying Beats.

Yeah, I see no future for AAPL at all.

Woohoo! $100 psychological threshold is breached.

I'm loving it. Was watching it today creep up and hit the 99.99 wall so many times, then boom, broke through and is on an upswing now.

My shares and options are kicking ass. Only wish I had more cash a few months back to buy more options.

74.5 million iPhones versus expectations of 68 million.

$3.06 EPS versus expectations of $2.60. $18 billion net profit.

Apple Watch shipping in April. That's sooner than expected?

Sounds inline with their guidance. It won't add meaningfully to bottomline in my view but makes the ecosystem stronger. Nothing really move AAPL P&L other than iPhone shipment and ASP so keep that in mind.

Also, haters to the left

Despite the fact Apple really hasn't created anything new or innovative as of late, they are now worth more than Microsoft and Google combined

Pretty crazy I think. With a P/E of ~17 right now, they aren't really even over bought.

Five years later, they STILL haven't created anything new or innovative lately and their stock is still skyrocketing. We have to be hitting "peak iPhone" soon, though. We're now at the point where the yearly improvements aren't big enough to warrant getting a new phone every two years.

I miss the Steve Jobs era. If he was still around, us Apple fanboys would probably all be watching TV on our Apple branded TV's. Some of us might even getting driven around on our Apple branded self-driving cars by now.

If Steve was still around, Apple would've bought Tesla.
