ok, I am using Word 2002 (officeXP) and I just had an issue. I was writing a report when I did the ctrl-a to change the headings. All the text was highlited a dull grey color (not the normal highlighted color) then that I could not get rid of by clicking anywhere. I decided to save my doc and then exit the program. I reopened my doc and there was not text in it at all!!! I thought I would have to rewrite it all but I noticed that the file size of the saved doc is still 210 KB, the same size it was when it had text in it. A new, blank word doc size is about 20 KB. Does this mean my text is still in there somewhere and I can still recover it? if so, how? thanks
