May i ask where did you find the beta drivers?
http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop?os=Windows+7+-+64#amd-catalyst-packages
scroll down until you see beta 14.6
edit: didn't mean to double post :X
Here's a Toshiba for $300:
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/toshiba-...&skuId=7046186
Would that Toshiba be as reliable as the HP? I like how the Toshiba's keys touch each other. I can't type on chicklet style keys like the HP has. Do Toshiba's still have wireless issues?
Also, I know it says not released yet, and costs more, but how would this Acer Aspire E5-551-86R8 with A8-7100 compare? It's 1.8Ghz with turbo up to 3Ghz.
a8-7100 uses 256 gcn cores vs 128 in all beema skus. the a8-8410 beema may have better MT perf but should be less in ST and GPU perf.
Possibly new info, it seems the a8-6410 might not beema apu after all if the chart is correct!
http://www.cpu-world.com/news_2014/2014072402_Specifications_of_AMD_A8-6410_APU.html
Amd website claims that it might have 256 shades, it also claims it doesn't have trust zone stuff.
So this might be good new...
How would the A8-7100 compare to the Intel Core i3-4010U in single/dual core speeds? The A8-7100 isn't listed on cpubenchmark.net.
This HP with Intel Core i3-4010U is only $330.
If you're looking for Kaveri in a laptop then it's the A10 7300 (and FX 7400 and 7600 in the coming months), the A6 6310 and A8 6410 aren't worth getting over something like an A8 5350M or A10 5750M.
Isn't the R5 M230 somewhat equiv to the Nvidia 840M?
Microcenter had a picture of a laptop with the A10 7300 at a good price, and said "coming soon", but the link was dead, so I don't really know if/when it will be available. I think the price was less than 500.00 which seems reasonable. I want to see some more benchmarks as well, but this could be one of the best fits for kaveri.
Hi guys I wrote a review on the high end beema laptop HP is making:

Hope you enjoy and for any questions you can ask them (preferably on the review page)
