Wow, I can't believe I just read the entire thread. I must admire Red for his fighting spirit. I have long given up on trying to lower myself to argue with those who speak out of their asses (albeit some quite eloquently). Russ once stood up for himself in these debates. Now he just let his soldiers do the attacking, while giving them a few pointers every now and then. What's next? Russ arming his army with his firearm collection?

I respect that this is an area where you draw the line. I could have the same thing said about my wife and it wouldn't faze me in the least. Both were flaming each other and insulting what they could. I tend to go nuclear in that situation, and insulting family members would be perfectly fair game.

So I wouldn't complain about you complaining, but it wouldn't stop me in the least.

Red Dawn has been annoying the heck out of me with his repeated insulting attacks, often, it seems to just stir the pot. If DanC wanted to step in and give Red a piece of his mind, then that is his business. However, once insults start to fly and it gets more and more personal, it is hard to say there is a &quot;line&quot; that can't be crossed. I don't recall DanC saying that the insult had gotton too personal. heck, he was attacking what Red Dawn does for a living in a pretty demeaning manner.

I have now noted that insults about your female friends and family set you off in a way that I would have to be truly willing to piss you off before I would use it. It wasn't &quot;nice&quot; what Red Dawn did (nor what DanC did), but I do not share your sense of outrage.

So much so that Jesus even went so far to say that the very ones they judged as being unholy would enter the Kingdom of God before them. Paul warns of these very times today. He said there would be those that would be like clouds with no water. Everytime you turn around there's some Republican condemning some democrat or liberal as they call them. Since the birth, death, and resurection of Christ God has never used any man to condemn another. God is not associated with a Party. Or have you not read that you are not suppose to judge another man's servant. Find these words in the scripture and maybe why you seeking them God will give you understanding that your affiliation of Him with a political party is wrong. Its nothing wrong with trying to set a moral standard but to reduce God's agenda to that of a political party is a sin itself. I think you better correct yourself, before he allows you to be corrected. Stop trying to reduce God to be as foolish as a man.
