I agree, the Voodoo3 still runs all my games fine...hopefully, the Rampage will also have a long life with a low price tag. :)

I too am sticking with my Voodoo 3 till something truly low cost, yet still competitive in terms of power. the Voodoo 3 2K AGP is what I have, and I got it for about $150 CANADIAN. can't get a Geforce ANYTHING for that price. STILL.

the only games I've found that tax the Voodoo 3 are Quake 3, and of course Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force. UT is pretty slow only cause of my K6-2 400 (hey it's still faster then Quake 3!).

Quake 3 looks to be the reason why I'll be upgrading my video card sometime soon, because the more games that come out based on it, the more I'll need more power (lousy programmers can't optimize! I bet there's sooo much more that these computers are capable of.. I'd rather have streamlined games then having to buy better (expensive) hardware..).

Quake3 is the only game I play, and yet I still use a V3 3000. Sure, I ain't playing it at insane resolutions, but at 800x600 I get a very respectable ~80FPS timedemo, and that's NOT with all the graphical options turned down, but rather a comprimise between graphical options that I notice(which are switched on) and those that I don't(which are switched off to increase framerates).
