Guys, being serious for a second. I read that mice leave traces of bacteria called sporesastimica(sp?) in environments such as AC units. Usually colonies of this bacteria take about three years before they get to dangerous levels. Normal cleaning will not remove them. After these germs reach a critical mass, they are quite deadly and will cause nervous disorders and even death in rare cases. It also causes damage to genetic material in your body.

A mouse was in my toolbag this morning. He was stuck on a glue trap and dragged his ass across the room, climbed into the toolbag. I noticed tool near the bag and the glue trap next to it. I flipped the bag open and sure enough a cute little mouse looked at me and then curled into a ball thinking I wouldnt see him. Closed the bag and stomped all over it. Opened the bag and he was still there, curled up in a little ball. I figured he deserved to live so I got a net, scooped him up and tossed him out the window (second floor) and he took off. Then I made my coffee and had a smoke. Hey, its NYC, if he could survive being stomped on in my tool bag he deserves another chance.

The cats had a mouse cornered yesterday evening in the garden.
I was able to catch him and interrogate him er wait, maybe it was her, anyway, since they seemed to not be hostile, I allowed it safe passage into the grape vines in the far corner.
The cats thought I was crazy, but seemed to accept the prospect of re-capture.
