Mouse popping is a normal feature of your air conditioner, and is not indicative of a problem. We realize that you have a choice of air conditioners, and thank you for choosing Panasonic.

Lethal zoonotic diseases commonly carried by mice aren't airborn, so as long as the mouse didn't bite you and you didn't eat it or its poop, you should be fine should this incident recur. Wild mice don't usually carry rabies (an attack that would give them rabies usually kills them) but nevertheless should always be assumed to have it, thus don't let them touch you. Oh, and they poop everywhere, so thorough disinfection and cleaning is recommended. Be careful not to leave poison where pets or children can gain access. If a pet does manage to eat mouse poison, bring the poison container with you to the vet so they know what antidote to use (if there is one).

There is a mouse that lives in my backyard? Should I be concerned? (You know, since it'll snow, that bastard might find it's way in...).

A rat chewed through my Cat 5 going to my second computer. Now I'm going to have to replace the cable. I'M GOING TO KILL THEM ALL.
