Obvious moron is obvious. Ever hear the story of David and Goliath(the giant)?

Now if what he was saying was correct then David was more deteriorated(corrupted by Satan) than Goliath. So why did God show favor on the dude who was corrupted by Satan?😕

Has this guy even read the bible?🙄

That's because a true Christian would not believe that drivel.

Here's a real view of it:

God created man, beasts and the universe. Every single creature, plant, cell and proton was created by God. The bible names very few animals by name but in the book of Job, a huge beast with a tail the size of a massive tree was described. If you read it in detail (and I recommend you do, so that you are not working off third hand information), you can see that it is very similar to a dinosaur, if not a dinosaur, is being described.

Where us Christians and the Darwinists disagree is in macro-evolution. I think you have to be ignorant to not see that species evolve. I think it takes a huge amount of faith to believe that "through chance and time" a single cell somehow became a human. The odds of that are beyond measure. If you would like to debate this, I have a thread in Discussion Club where we have a rather large debate about it.

So whenever you see trash like what is in the OP, ignore it. The bible tells us all we need to know. We don't need a trashy comic to help.

You realize all humans come from a single cell, right? A single cell grows for 9 months and gives you a human. Can't graft one using a rib like you can some plants.

so ID? 😵

I'm saying that I'm supposed to believe that if you just throw some random cell in a pool of ooze and let it chill out for a while, a man will magically appear? Probably not.

It doesn't explain why we don't find the bones of 15 foot tall homo sapiens in the fossil record. If it was only 6000 years ago then there should be plenty of tall mummies. Crazy comic book wasn't crazy enough.

There weren't enough people around to produce enough fossils for us to discover. Science saves religion!

I always thought the consensus was that people back then were much smaller than we are now. So "the giant" was probably more like 7' or something like that. HUGE compared to a 5' tall average dude.

But I don't know exactly how all the measurements worked back then, so I can't say for sure. It would be a fun thing to research though.

I think you should consider applying the motivational quote from your other thread to this area of expertise.

Who cares, that book isn't hurting me. Books like those are only for people that already believe that stuff. Just more fluff for them.

And that's where you're wrong. People who grow up and are indoctrinated into this bullshit are the people who come up to be in the tea-party and other right wing nutjobs. You really think your life isn't impacted in a negative way by this crap?

I don't see how the two are related.

I would also venture a bet that I have spent much more time researching these things than 90% of the people posting in this thread. In the Discussion Club thread, evolutionists finally relented that they cannot and will never be able to prove their theories. And in fact, their theories will change over time. So creationists beliefs never change or waiver but evolutionists have to change their beliefs many times to fit whatever the current theory is.

Its the truth vs a guess. I prefer the truth.

If the thread went on long enough with you spouting the same things over and over and refusing to address the counter points they presented, they probably just gave up and left. I can tell by every post you made in this thread that you are hanging on to a number of beliefs that are easily refuted. In any real discussion thread on the subject someone would certainly have brought them up. My only conclusion is that you did what so many creationists do, which is to ignore opposing points and simply continue restating what you believed to start with, all the while pretending you are having an actual "debate".

So anyone that doesn't think like you is a threat to you? How terribly horrific. Other men have thought the same as you and have inflicted horrible carnage upon the world. Religious and non-religious alike. You really should reflect upon your belief and see that the monster you hate is really yourself.

did you read the thread?

or are you just making things up to fit your theory?

Read a book. JESUS.

The measurements for Goliath are specific. He was six cubits and a span tall. He was somewhere between 6.5 and 9.5 feet.

The tallest man that we know about is just shy of 9 feet.

Um. lol. Take a biology course or read the internet. Sheesh...

Ok this is just a complete failure at understanding the scientific method let alone science.

The "truth" is what is True, not what someone stubbornly holds as true despite the evidence to the contrary.

If you made an effort to understand evolution you would probably find it more credible.

I've put in tons of effort. Even picked up a copy of On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life.
