Funny how no conservative ever admits to personally knowing any Tea Partyers. But you guys sure plaster videos of those TP rallies over all creation, and try to convince us that their outrage means something.

Who are "you guys"?

46% of Americans wanted her to be VP yet most are now distancing themselves? Some people have no spine.

By that measure, 53% of Americans rolled the dice with Obama and came up snake eyes. Think they will double down?

Quite a bit of difference between voting for someone on a Presidential ticket as VP as opposed to voting for them for President.

See

Quayle, Danforth
Gore, Albert

for recent examples.

She is a beauty pageant contestant. She looks the part.. but when she opens her mouth her true colors show. She has no business even considering a run for president. If it weren't for Obama on the democratic ticket... I could have easily not voted for McCain.

the only good thing about her talking, is how humorus I find her accent.

McCain was nutty enough without her tagging along.

I find yur post quite humorus, but I find the fluffer nuttinessness is likely found on both sides of the bred.

I see no difference between VP and P on the same ticket. If you vote for the Prez are you hoping and praying that he stays alive long enough so that the VP does not get the top job? BS, especially when voting for McCain. 46% of the electorate voted for that airhead and now they won't admit as much. They knew what they were getting with McCain and chose him anyway.

I find this a somewhat weird comment on at least three levels.

1. 46% of Americans rolled the dice for McCain. Does anyone on this forum really think McCain could have done better than Obama has in difficult times?

2. 53% of American rolled the dice for Obama and needed changes, and if anything the rather dubious snake eyes rating of PJABBER is frustration with the lack of change. A lack of change we can largely credit to the GOP who veto everything Obama tries to get through congress. As for Obama, he is still pushing for what he always stood for, as we also discover exactly how deep of a hole the past eight years dug us.

3. Yes maybe Obama should just do what GWB did, violate the law with dubious signing statements and act as a dictator. And then we could get some changes. But do we want that or a President who acts within the constitution?

It isnt no matter how hard Lefties and Rush Limbaugh try to make it. I highly doubt she will be much of a factor in 2012. If she even bothers to run. Right now she is cashing in on everybodies curiosity.

This.

She's damaged goods as far as i'm concerned but that's only partially her fault. She was set up to fail by joining the McCain ticket. But she sure can milk the celebrity cow for all it's worth. IMO her best bet is to lend her name and support to an existing Conservative org.

You know, if the media just ignored her like they should, she would fade away. However, they know what a divisive character she is- you either love her or hate her- and this does wonders for their ratings. You can thank your news outlets and talk shows for her continued presence.

People's attraction to her (or hate) is an interesting thing- it is the very absurdity of a person like her being in power that drives some people crazy, and this "absurdity" is seen by some as her being "a real American" or "common folk." This will keep her as media fodder for a while to come I suppose.

Palin is an inspiration. If she were a PhD she likely wouldn't be able to connect with much of anyone. Academia and nitpicking does that to a person.

Trying to make a lawyer's case by examining a masterpiece for a non-symmetrical brush stroke is meaningless.

I know she's the Tila Tequila of American politics and all, and she looks like a naughty librarian and winks like a hooker, but, you're never going to get a chance to fuck her.

I think it's been pretty well demonstrated that the VP candidate has little effect on the presidential ticket, so to assume that the 46% voting for McCain supported her for president is erroneous.

Not sure what studies you read but in McCain's case U seriously doubt it. McCain's campaign became the Sarah Palin Show after she was brought in.

That's "everybody's," but I get your point.

There are some of us who in fact have no curiosity whatsoever about Palin per se. For me, the fascination - if you can call it that - is to see someone who is the physical manifestation of the axiom that it's impossible to underestimate the intelligence of the American people. The reactions of those dazzled by her flame are like episodes of the world's worst soap opera or punchlines to a neverending dumb-and-dumber joke.

She's the Pied Piper to the stridently stupid.

I hope she stays around for a long time, and I really hope she decides to run in the Gop primaries....

Because it's going to be sooo much fun to watch the other candidates having to find ways to attack her without driving off her loon base and risk losing their votes....

Are all those mean old Gop Men gonna tell that Hockey Mom that she isn't good or smart enough to be their leader?

\by gosh, by gum, by golly
\\FrankenPalin to return, fire bad!!!!

I held my nose and voted for McCain only because of Palin, otherwise I would have voted for Barr. And I still like her. But president? Not in the near future anyway. I think she has some real maturing to do - not to mention realizing she can't get away with telling easily verifiable lies - no Republican can, with 90% of the media being liberals. (Liberal politicians can because the liberal media won't call them on it and the conservative media are going to say they're lying no matter what they say.) That she doesn't recognize this speaks volumes about her knowledge of American below Alaska. That she does it at all speaks poorly of her basic honesty. But I do still admire what she did in Alaska.

Oops.

Double Down = Black Jack.

Snake Eyes = Craps.

Sarah would be proud of your mixed metaphor.

Anyone who thinks she is a good choice for America is out of their tiny little minds.

Couldn't agree more. Conservatives just have no idea how low they've set their own bar, and then wet themselves and cry foul when pesky things like facts and job relevent questions come into play. That woman almost makes GWB look educated. Least she can speak English though, even if it is with a funny accent.

Palin, just complete your shark jumping and release a sex tape already.
