Well I just played a few minutes of BF2 and playing more would probably give me a headache. Graphics will display properly if I, say, move in a straight line, but when I turn everything blurs a but and it's awful on the eyes.

what resolution are you running at? whats your rigs specs, drivers installed? dvi plugged in or vga?

Text will blur when you move a window really fast, it will on all monitors, I dont know why that annoys you, are you planning on reading rapidly moving text? My crt does the same thing (Sony Trinitron)

There is no ghosting at all in games as Im sure others will verify. I watched jet li's fearless today (high speed martial arts) and had no problems. So I doubt its the monitor, lets see if ve can diagnose the problem?

I reallyappreciate your feedback.
Actualy it doesn'T blur at HIGH speed, it blurs at anything BETWEEN very slow and very fast, which is what surprises me. If I shake a window, while I cant read iside it at all, I do notice text still look sharp, but when I move it just beyond very slowly(normal dragging speeds) its blurry as seen through a glass.
Normal motions blur, very slow and very fast one don't. I have yet to watch a fast action movie on it.
In games, it will blur when I TURN. If I go in a straiugh line, everything's fine. If I try to look around as one would turn his head, its blurry. I am toally new to LCDs. I have read countless reviews and it svery few notice any ghosthing at all, some having played HL2 and BF2 for hours on it. Well I played some BF2, and I donMt know if I could get used to that much blurring when I turn to look around, tracking for ppl.
Since I am a first time LCD user, I have no clue if it is what I have to get used to or if it's a problem with my unit.

I tried to find videos ppl made fo them playing a game, but all linked I followed were dead sadly XD

No idea, they are still pushing it faily hard, it has a full page ad in this months PcGamer calling it the gamers lcd. So I guess they are sticking with it a bit longer.

Still confused over hyunkels problem I dont know what to say.

What I'd really like to know and haven't been able to ascertain is "Is it a problem?" I'm only looking for a confirmation from another VX2025WM user that it is normal or not. Does moving a window in the deskstop at a normal speed blur it; do rotating the camera in games blur the background for others. I have no problems in movie playback even fast scenes, which is also a reason I'm confused.

I know LCDs are supposed to blur a bit; I'd just like to know if what I'm experience is what everyone has on theirs or if I should replace my unit.

Blur on LCDs is normal, and it may very well make it hard to read stuff in motion in games. The VX2025WM is still not as fast as a CRT, nor is any LCD at this point in time (it may be about 15x slower). Some are less sensitive to the blur than others (and some definitely biased), so it's hard to tell from someone else's opinion.

Some scenes will blur more than others, because the crystals don't all twist at the same speed for all colors. In addition, you notice it far more when you are in control and expect a change. A movie's precise motion is generally unpredictable or so major that you don't even notice. And, you do not need to focus as much on the object moving in a movie as you do in a game.

I havent noticed any blurring on mine. I'll pay more attention to it and get back to you on it.

I think my problem is that I'm very sensitive to LCD blur. I playeda few hours of WoW I guess I just have to learn not to look at it. I try not to rotate my camera around too much and not look too far in the distance, and I can go a long time without noticing it until I think about it. I'll have to play some BF2 see how it goes.

Okay, I checked mine. Didnt see any blurring. It could very well be just how your eyes are seeing it after alot of gaming. Always good to take a few minutes break after an hour of gaming to let your eyes get perspective again. I can attest as you get older you need those breaks a little more often. ::chuckle::

Actualy I see it right from the start. I have to train myself not to see it. If I forget that I'm playing on a LCD and that it blurs I can manage to see it a lot less. It's that when you know something is there you keep looking at it. It only blurs on rotation of the camera, if I strafe left, it isnt there; if I rotate left, it's there all the way.
I checked a couple of LCD monitors at futureshop this week and all of them ranging from $200 to $1000 did the same thing on the deskstop.
I plugged in my old CRT monitor, and I seem to notice that when I rotate in it too it's not as clear as it used to be. I think I'm paranoid o_O
Maybe I just read too much on LCD blur and ghosting b4 I bought this first monitor that I've been looking for it too hard, and now that I saw it I'm always looking at it.

No problems with mine. It worked right out of the box. Didnt have to do anything other than turn it on after hooking it up. I read some folks had to manually set the resolution but mine self configured itself right to the native resolution upon starting it. It looks just as it should in a dark room. A nice bright and crisp screen. No dead pixels and no bleeding that I can see.

I suppose those that had problems got a bad monitor because it could happen. Bound to get a bad one every now and then considering the many they make. Although i havent heard of any particular dvi problems with this LCD. Also one needs to make sure their card supports it to begin with. If not then its a video card problem and not a LCD problem. Big difference.

yes, most those who reported bad dvis sayd they died after 2 weeks, most had low cards.

thanks man good to know, there is bleeding on completely black screens, but when do you ever see completely black screens?
