Girls aren't even finished filling out until 20 to 22. For all that mother knows, her daughter may have become a natural D cup by age 20. All the other comments I would have made have been made already.

On another note, and I'll probably be banned for saying something 'unflattering' about her, Geekbabe's posts are completely predictable. In every thread it's about how great women are and how much men suck. She puts down men to make herself feel better for her own self esteem problems. Always jumping on the bandwagon to point out that natural is better... but wait! Wasn't it geekbabe that was looking into breast implants a year ago because she lacks self esteem? That there is what you call hypocracy. If there was ever a person on these forums absolutely obsessed with physical image, it's geekbabe. From what I've heard, she's not a bad looking woman. Perhaps let go of your bitterness from your previous marriage and stop focusing on the media and just be happy with yourself? Practice what you preach?

Yet, the vast majority of males on these forums kiss her ass because she's one of a dozen females that actually post on these forums. Funny how all the women in the media will be ripped on but most guys here worship the ground of the women that post here.

Back to the subject on hand: Fakes = nasty and a sign of very low self esteem. I have no desire to date a woman with fakes. A cup, B cup... fine with me.

Parents should never EVER get plastic surgery for their kids, short of them being mangled in an industrial dishwasher and needing reconstructive surgery.

If you read carefully I was sticking up for the gal's choice to get her breasts done. My point here is not to "bash" anybody but to point out the oddness of people who bash "natural" looking women based on a cultural ideal that's slammed at us at every turn by the media but then turn around and equally bash those women who resort to plastic surgery in an attempt to measure up to the current cultural ideal,to say nothing about the fact that porn is a multi billion dollar industy in spite of all those gals sporting those "nasty" fakes.

Btw, I've made no secret of the fact that I'd have surgery in a heartbeat if I could afford it and feel there's nothing wrong with anyone using modern tech to change aspects of their appearance that bother them. I really don't care how you feel about it or how you view me:)

Why do you use porn as a standard to compare yourself to? There is nothing real about porn. Or do you think most women scream, "Fvck me, cowboy!" every time a man touches their elbow?

I agree that the media has caused pressure for women for years and it's shifting to do the same to men, as well. Look around at the people that are happily married. Most of the happy couples are the ones that found love is beyond the shallowness of physical appearance. Most happily married couples are not anything close to Baywatch models. What are implants going to do for you besides getting more of the 'stupid' men to stare at your chest when you are talking to them? Is that attention worth damaging your body?

This entire issue is like the question which came 1st the chicken or the egg? People say "don't be influnced by the media" or "I prefer natural" yet the media machine is pushes physical perfection grows bigger and wealthier with each passing year.

I think many of us like to think we aren't shallow but when it comes actual practice, well, it's a different story.

If there's nothing wrong with a guy desiring a woman with a super model's body then there's nothing wrong with women going to any lengths they deem appropriate to obtain that look imho.

I think you're being deliberately obtuse here. If those "nasty fakes" were indeed such a turn off sales of
films, magazines, videos would plummet.High fashion models with implants would find their bookings slowing, Hollywood stars would be hitting their doctors offices in droves getting implants removed. That's not happening though is it? Why? because of the ticket buying public. Money talks.

I personally have no problem with anyone, myself included who chooses to use the advances in medicine to change features that are displeasing to them and I think making it out to be some sort of moral failing is over the top.

Don't kid yourself,We do all sorts of things that aren't natural, easy or cheap to enhance our apperances and to keep us looking as vital and youthful as we can for as long as we can.

Many of the young people posting here have benefitted from orthdontic treatment that would have been unheard of for all but the most wealthy families when I was a teenager.Same goes for acne treatments, straightening crooked noses, pinning back ears that stick out etc.To say nothing of the sports, music, dance and 101 other educational advantages heaped on many of today's kids by parents hoping to make their children as healthy, physically attractive and socially polished as possible in order to give them the nest shot at having the kind of life they choose.

Those women may be nice to look at on the screen, but how often are those the kind of women that men marry? How often are they the ones that get taken to meet mom and dad? Those are the women most men want to date and screw in their 20's but not the ones they want to settle down with.

It's not a moral thing for me. It's simply a clue to self esteem. I don't want to date a woman that has such low self esteem that she would consider mutilating her body to fit the fakeness seen on TV. No person can look like an airbrushed picture, just like no person is going to look like a cartoon. It's not real and most people know this. It's fantasy watching TV, not reality.

Anyway, I know we're not going to agree here and I'm glad we kept it civil. I simply feel bad for you because I see you as having very low self esteem, not realizing the value of yourself as a person, and thinking that a quick fix is going to make you happier when instead you'll just find something else to be unhappy with.

But you have to remember that orthdontic threatment, while technically medical, it is also a natural process. What I was referring to, are people who sugericly change things, permanently, like implants and stuff.

God made us the way we are for a reason.

I don't mind changing physical parts of myself that bother me that I can change naturally.

And this is expressively why I hope whoever I plan on ending up with to grow a family with doesn't let the media pressure her into doing anything

Don't kid yourself,We do all sorts of things that aren't natural, easy or cheap to enhance our apperances and to keep us looking as vital and youthful as we can for as long as we can.

Many of the young people posting here have benefitted from orthdontic treatment that would have been unheard of for all but the most wealthy families when I was a teenger.Same goes for acne treatments, straightening crooked noses, pinning back ears that stick out etc.

But you have to remember that orthdontic threatment, while technically medical, it is also a natural process. What I was referring to, are people who sugericly change things, permanently, like implants and stuff.

Tell me what's "natural" about getting teeth pulled, jaws moved/shortened and spending 3 yrs and several grand having wires tightened around one's teeth for several years ?

Yes,while some orthodontic treatment is needed medically the vast majority is done for cosmetic purposes, to make people look better, same goes for contact lenses, teeth bleaching etc.
