Two things wrong with the Non Prof John Contention.

1. Gaza residents live in near starvation conditions due to an Israeli economic embargo.

2. Being free and having equal rights in the land of your birth, cannot compensate for a defacto slavery.

That was the argument of only Southern holders who claimed to feed their slaves more than they able to obtain in Africa.

Please let us all know non Prof John when you are willing to give up all your freedoms's for for a little more food.

The people of Gaza voted a terrorist origination into power they knew exactly what Hamas stood for when they voted for them. Therefore I feel little pity for them and their suffering.

If they want to end their suffering all they have to do is end the constant attacks on the civilians of Israel, but they won't do such a thing.

This would be the Gaza that Israeli politicians took the unpopular political gamble to send in the IDF to force settlers out of their homes and turned it over to the Palestinians who then immediately thanked the Israelis by tossing rockets at any population center they could reach with their primitive rockets.

Regarding the water park, the Palestinians burnt it down! The Wikipedia article is an interesting read:

Pardon me if I make a historical prediction.

Its all well and fine to say the Israeli position will last forever, as world pressure builds against it.

Yet lets look at how fast world consensus and reality can change.

Lets consider the following now present historical facts.

1. In 1776 the US rebels in the then British colonies finally broke with England, under the twin mantras of taxation without representation is tyranny and give me freedom or death. At the time it was a distinctly colonial minority position, but 5 years later the US won its independence.

2. Fast Forward to the French revolution of 1789, as a long succession of French Kings dating back to Charlemagne enjoyed a 800 year run as divine, a couple years later royal heads were rolling into baskets. Or maybe we talk about the Tzars in Russia, who fell equally as swiftly.

3. Then maybe we can talk about the fine run of the British empire in India. But in 1948 this five foot nothing guy had more moral force than the army of the British empire.

4. Or we can talk about US efforts in Vietnam, stupidly trying to combat historical forces. When Nixon gave up he called it peace with honor. After a long long run of US stupidity.

5. Now the USA has various irons in the fire in the mid-east, and we are busily losing everyone of them.

6. Now the USA is all in the mid-east, just to prop Israeli stupidity up when we need to side with a fair compromise. If nothing else, the USA needs to insist on an Israeli settlement freeze and maybe make it retroactive.

A David does not always win against Goliath, and a Masada, while heroic, resulted in the greatest dope slap and disaster in Jewish history. And my warning is that Israel is poised to repeat it, with its settler party crazies led by Bozo Netanyuhu.

Man you have to be the single biggest rube on this entire discussion board. I said that wwswimming has endorsed Holocaust Denial "on this discussion board." I never said he did so in this particular thread. And indeed he has done so, example:
