The great thing about it is when you look at the maps by county like on the MSNBC map, you'll notice that large cities tend to be Democratic while counties without large cities are Republican. It's like saying "If you are forced to interact with other people on a daily basis, you are more likely to be a Democrat. If you like to live out in the middle of nowhere you are more likely to be a Republican"

Look at Georgia for example.
