I must have done well for posters wanting to put a bullet through my skull.

I've been on here 10 years and that's a first.

Don't be so modest Dave; I'm sure people here have wanted to put a bullet through your skull since day 1. :D

What a waste of a perfectly good bullet.

Time to relax until 2016.

Who is Obama going to pass the baton to?

You are a lying sack of shit if you say that you won't be watching the 2012 elections like a hawk. :)

Huzzah!

I'm hung-over from "watching election coverage" last night. When it looked like a sealed deal, someone popped fireworks near my apartment. =)

Freaking college kids in a college town. GET OFF MAH LAWN

Edit: Anyone seen a Butterbean post today? I hope the poor guy is not flagelating himself in preparation for all the gay black guys who are going to invade his home.

For me, it's not palin - it's not that she's a she - it could be anyone who is this unfit for high office. She's the messenger - or the medium. The real problem is that 1) she was foisted on the public and 2) that the public buys it.

And, yes, you should feel at least a little stupid for defending her...

loki: I know what you are saying. Yesterday, someone linked to a five minute video of Palin's "greatest hits"-I could only endure watching half of it.

For the most part, issues actually featured at least a moderate role in this election. A disturbing element, though was the reality show aspect of the process, as exemplified by Palin and Joe the Plumber.

I think most intelligent people could plainly see the republican's lack of substance in their campaign. I seriously don't see how anyone could have voted for McCain...yet he did capture most of the southern states, go figure.

As a partisan dem, I warn this is no time to relax until 2016, the hole this country is in is very deep, and as Obama has said, the way forward is a very long road, and now the dems, fairly or unfairly, will catch
much of the blame.

's all around guys! Even if we don't agree, we can debate with some semblance of decency around here.
