The event was a tragedy and one of the most horrific moments for our country. I hate when people claim or even suggest that a horrendous event such as 911 could have been staged by our own gov't. People must have a lot of contempt for their country if they believe that our gov't would create a terrorist act against its own country. You dont have to like the way Bush has run things. I think he has made mistakes throughout his Presidency, but by no means would I go so far to blame this event on him or his council. It makes me soo mad. Am I alone on this?
Yours is a dangerous attitude. It presupposes the invalidity of any given argument simply because it results in a strong negative emotional response from you. I don't see much validity to any of the arguments that suggest our government planned 9/11, but I consider those arguments objectively before rejecting them, instead of resorting to knee-jerk emotional reactions. So no, it doesn't leave me angry, just sort of bewildered.

Oops, proof of US government conspiracy.
Declassified documents: In the early 1960s, America's top military leaders reportedly drafted plans to kill innocent people and commit acts of terrorism in U.S. cities to create public support for a war against Cuba.
Oops, the bullet through the windshield of JFK's limo is proof of conspiracy.
Yeah, you should be angry!

You can't be that ignorant to believe a single book and documentary. How about some real proof? How about the actual text of these declassified documents? Why haven't these documents been in the news, just a book?

For forty years, from 1932 to 1972, 399 African-American males were denied treatment for syphilis and deceived by officials of the United States Public Health Service. As part of a study conducted in Macon County, Alabama, poor sharecroppers were told they were being treated for ?bad blood.?In fact, the physicians in charge of the study ensured that these men went untreated. In the 25 years since its details first were revealed, the Tuskegee Syphilis study has become a powerful symbol of racism in medicine, ethical misconduct in human research, and goverment abuse of the vulnerable.
Written in response to a request from the Chief of the Cuba Project, Col. Edward Lansdale, the Top Secret memorandum describes U.S. plans to covertly engineer various pretexts that would justify a U.S. invasion of Cuba. These proposals - part of a secret anti-Castro program known as Operation Mongoose - included staging the assassinations of Cubans living in the United States, developing a fake ?Communist Cuban terror campaign in the Miami area, in other Florida cities and even in Washington,? including ?sink[ing] a boatload of Cuban refugees (real or simulated),? faking a Cuban airforce attack on a civilian jetliner, and concocting a ?Remember the Maine? incident by blowing up a U.S. ship in Cuban waters and then blaming the incident on Cuban sabotage.
Project MKULTRA, or MK-ULTRA, was the code name for a CIA mind-control research program that began in 1950[1][2]. There is much published evidence that the project involved the use of many types of drugs to manipulate peoples' mental states and to alter brain function.[3]
The project's intentionally oblique CIA cryptonym is made up of the digraph MK, meaning that the project was sponsored by the agency's Technical Services Division, followed by the arbitrary dictionary word ULTRA.
Project MK-ULTRA was first brought to wide public attention by the U.S. Congress (in the form of the Church Committee) and a presidential commission (known as the Rockefeller Commission) and also to the U.S. Senate.
Operation Midnight Climax was an operation initially established by Sidney Gottlieb and placed under the direction of Narcotics Bureau officer George White under the alias of Morgan Hall for the CIA as a sub-project of Project MKULTRA, the CIA mind-control research program that began in the 1950s.
The project consisted of a web of CIA-run safehouses in San Francisco, Marin, and New York. It was established in order to study the effects of LSD on unconsenting individuals. Prostitutes on the CIA payroll were instructed to lure clients back to the safehouses, where they were surreptitiously plied with a wide range of substances , including LSD, and monitored behind two-way mirrors. Several significant operational techniques were developed in this theater, including extensive research into sexual blackmail, surveillance technology, and the possible use of mind-altering drugs in field operations.
COINTELPRO (Counter Intelligence Program) was a program of the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation aimed at investigating and disrupting dissident political organizations within the United States. Although covert operations have been employed throughout FBI history, the formal COINTELPRO operations of 1956-1971 were broadly targeted against organizations that were (at the time) considered to have politically radical elements, ranging from those whose stated goal was the violent overthrow of the U.S. government (such as the Weathermen); non-violent civil rights groups such as Martin Luther King Jr.'s Southern Christian Leadership Conference; and violent groups like the Ku Klux Klan and the American Nazi Party. The founding document of COINTELPRO directed FBI agents to "expose, disrupt, misdirect, discredit, or otherwise neutralize" the activities of these movements and their leaders.
The Gulf of Tonkin Incident was a operation whereby allegedly a pair of attacks were carried out by naval forces of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (commonly referred to as North Vietnam) against two American destroyers, the USS Maddox and the USS Turner Joy. The attacks were alleged to have occurred on 2 August and 4 August 1964 in the Gulf of Tonkin.[1]
Later research, including a report released in 2005 by the National Security Agency, indicated that the second attack most likely did not occur, but also attempted to dispel the long-standing assumption that members of the administration of President Lyndon B. Johnson had knowingly lied about the nature of the incident. [2][3]
In a tape recording that surfaced in 2001 President Johnson admits that the incident he used to obtain approval from congress never happened.[4]

There is no point arguing with noto12ious, he was dead on correct with his ABC NEWS link on operation northwoods, proving the the united states government is 100% capable of conspiring against the American public.
