I've never had any problems with any ebay auctions I've won. I did have a problem pop up yesterday.
I need some help as to how to proceed with this problem.
1. I bid on an XP OS 12/15
2. I win XP OS 12/15
3. I get confirmation that I won, I paid via PayPal
4. I get home from work and have email from ebay that...
"Unfortunately, we had to remove this Multiple Item Auction listing
and cancel all bids. We don't like to remove listings -- it's disappointing for everyone -- but sometimes we need to do it.
If the seller is able to fix the problem and relist the item, we hope you'll bid on it again.
Sometimes, instead of relisting an item, a seller will suggest that you buy it directly from him or her, off eBay. If that happens, please don't accept. If anything goes wrong with the purchase, we won't be able to help you."
5. I contact the seller both direct email and through ebay, explaing communication from ebay, saying...
"I will now need you to refund my $94.99 back to my PayPal account"
6. This morning I get return email from seller...
"I receive your paiement and your item was ship testerday at 5 pm"
7. Seller says nothing at all about ebay removal or addressing my request for refund.
* The OS wasn't that great a deal.
* I want to comply with ebay rules.
What's the next step I should take?
