Here are the stats for the 5th day of racing:

As you can see, the teams are not balanced well enough to make a exciting race. Therefore tomorrow I'll change some folders around to make the teams more balanced.

Here are the stats on a more personal level ... 😉

I am not quite certain if to restructure the teams just now. Mark has gotten an impressiv increase in PpD and so have a few others. I'll wait a day or two.

I notice that somebody named Anonymous has had a lot of production for the TeAm since the race started. Is that the default name for someone who doesn't enter a username? Since there's nobody named Anonymous in the race, I think that might mean that somebody in this race forgot to fill in their username on some machine. 😱

Here are the stats for the 7th day of the race:

New milestones:
Lane42: 6 million points
biodoc: 40 million points
The TeAm's production: 30 million in this race
The TeAm's ppd: more than 5 million points.

It appears you have a GTX 980 running under Linux. I have read that some folders have had an issue installing drivers. Did you? As I recall it wasn't that difficult with the Fermi & Kepler cards. Just wondering if it is the same with the Maxwells.

I have a 750ti running under Linux. Driver installation was no harder than any other time, which is to say not very hard. 🙂 It's good to get the latest driver before installing the card, although I had a prior driver that worked in my case already. Stop whatever window manager service you have running, install the driver, and restart the WM.

Yes, it is running under linux. Installing the drivers is not trivial but I've running linux for so long, I can find workarounds if I run into problems.

Thanks, just looking at options.
It would appear that Stanford can’t keep up the supply of core x17 WUs. I am seeing more x18 cores and while they have QRB, their PPD are a tad lower than x17 and then they are giving out core x15 WUs which have no QRB………….. Really cuts into ones PPD.
It looks like Linux users still just get core x17. Lucky dogs…………….

Well, I have 2 660ti cards. Right now the core 18 one is getting 62k, and the core 17 one is getting 57k. Same box.....Core 18 is fine with me !

And my 780 is getting 183k, and my780ti is getting 257k, both on core 18

My numbers for my 780Ti on linux are quite close to what MarkFW is seeing on windows. My 660Ti is on a windows 7 rig. Before the race I was running the latest drivers on the windows machine and saw low ppd. When I rolled back the driver to version 327.23, the ppd nearly doubled. My GTX570 is on linux with recent drivers and I think I should be getting higher ppd (currently ~30K ppd on p13001 core 17 WU). I may roll back to year old drivers on that machine too. My 660Ti gets ~68K ppd on those same WUs. My 780Ti (linux, recent drivers) gets 247K ppd on the p13000 WUs.

I think the p9201 WUs are the only core 17 that run on big Maxwell cards.

So far I've completed 80 of those on my GTX980 @ ~385K ppd. Hopefully there's enough of those to last through the end of the race. If not, my total ppd will be cut in half!

Thx for the stats Petrus 🙂

Finally switched over my main rig a couple of days ago (3 cores of my old C2Q & the HD5850), F@H reckons ~12,400 ppd for my main rig & ~3k for my 2nd rig.

Assimilator1

You might try the scorched earth policy and finish/delete FAH/uninstall FAH/re-boot/re-install FAH.

When all else fails, sometimes cleaning house works.............

Where did you ask the question you referred to??

Linked in my post previous to that one.
As it happened I kinda did what you said before I saw your post 😉, I was under the impression that removing the GPU client would remove the WU, it didn't so once I deleted it, it was ok (was a shame I hadn't realised I had one that was 82% done earlier in the year!).
Anyway as from August my GTX 260 can no longer crunch as that particular work server died then & isn't being fixed.

I wish you were closer, I would let you borrow 2 gtx 460's, and maybe give you another !
