Insurrection looks pretty difficult, must be why the terrorist groups are on the grind, it's a sweet pay off.

Oh, and is this supposed to be a serious post this time?

Being productive isn't necessarily "getting a job" either.
We can look at how far something falls short or how far it comes.

The problem I see is do I really have any idea what productive is. Surely some things were better in the past and some things will be better in the future.

Would that we could focus less on defining who the vermin are and more on fixing the conditions that create them.

I think that what makes what we call vermin is a lifetime of being called that such as to create the need for achieve revenge by not disappointing the prophets.

These people are little fish in the ocean. They are taking plea deals, which in time will be used to get the big fish. (Trump, other government officials, etc)..

Just like they don't go after the little fish in drug busts... They give out light sentences in exchange for testimony/evidence to take down the big drug dealers.

You think? Seems optimistic to me, I don't see much sign they are ever going to go after the Trump family and their establishment enablers (though they absolutely should). From what I've seen the sentences so far don't seem unduly lenient...though I suppose one has to allow for US sentencing being quite extreme by Western European standards as a baseline.

Seems much more important that those 'big fish' pay a serious price, than to be ultra-punitive for a bunch of sad cases and dimwits (failed by the apparently dismally poor US education system).

So basically, it's subjective.

Productive is not necessarily getting a job, getting a job is not necessarily productive.

I do find it funny who replied to my post though, lol.

Somebody was wrong on the internet. You failed to mention that a glass that is half empty is also half full.

Conservatives place weight on being self sufficient, as in having a job and emphasize, as a result, the benefits they experience when that is attained. In pointing out that there are virtues liberals are aware of beyond productivity myopically narrowed to employment, you chose to make fun of their ‘get a jobs thing’ absent any mention of the virtues being employed can bring. I believe that as you have the more perspicacious view point on productivity you should also have the greater degree of magnanimity with the generosity of your opinion. Attacking the limitation of the opinion of another, it seems to me, implies a lack of faith in your opinion’s superiority.

So naturally it would be me that would want you to know that. 🙂

That's a disturbingly strange fantasy. Equally disturbing is that you would share it as if it's perfectly normal and acceptable.
It's not disturbing since it's what happened in Portland only last week minus the National Guards opening fire because they were fired upon on. Some idiot nicknamed Tiny Toes shot himself last week in Portland and Meal Team Six went berserk calling out medic medic medic as if they were in some kind of Rambo film.

I'm not entirely sure what you trying to say here.

Employment is not equal to productive.

I was mocking the dbags who have enough time and money on their hands to storm the castle again, using the same lingo theyll easily mock others with.

Their mocking isn't a good thing. They mock because they learned how painful being mocked is as children and feel a need for revenge. The fact they do it to the innocent does not factor in. Just as children who are punished by beatings learn to beat others including their own children those who know the pain of being mocked learn to mock others. In this way we have all become insane, thinking that more of what has made us mentally ill will cure the illness. How will this ever change unless we die on the cross of pain unavenged and learn to forgive? I realize this may sound a bit strange and difficult to do but perhaps one can see the danger of feeding the self justification of payback.

Lol what goes around dude.

Lock 'em alllll up!!

(Guess we're not supposed to post babe pics here, so fer y'all young'ns, that's a throw back to the 1960s Noxzema shave cream TV spots with the hot Swedish blonde.)

Just shows how crafty Antifa plants are. They even dress like us and have our symbols! All to make the good folk of the country look bad, why do they have to be so mean?

Looks like this guy arrived a week early for the totally peaceful protest on 9/18.

No firearms or explosives?
Would seem less a terrorist and more afraid of violence from counter protestors.

...a swastika and other White supremacist symbols painted on it, near the Democratic National Committee headquarters early Monday morning.
Officers on patrol noticed the Dodge Dakota pickup truck around midnight on Sunday. Police say the truck didn't have a license plate but instead a picture of an American flag.

Oh.... maybe he was looking for trouble.

Remember those idiots showed up in Philly and got their asses kicked.

Good piece about how Trump's brand of authoritarianism is spreading throughout the world. The junta in Myanmar with their false else fraud claims. Right wing candidate in Peru loses and claims fraud.

And Bolsonaro, of course. An ardent admirer of Trump, he'll very likely refuse to concede when he loses next year (his approvals are under water), setting off a revolution or civil war. In a country which has had fair elections for decades. All coming to an end.

I wouldn't be surprised if 100 years from now, Trump will be written about as one of the most, if not THE most, contemptuous figures of this century. Not just in the US, but in the world. Last century was Hitler.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Capitol Police on Wednesday said it has asked the Pentagon to provide National Guard troops to help protect the Capitol on Sept. 18 during a scheduled protest if they are needed.

"The USCP has asked the Department of Defense for the ability to receive National Guard support should the need arise on September 18," the police department statement said.

Saw another article a few days ago that wasn't projecting much of a crowd, so we'll see.
