I've been looking for some new memory to get for my 8rda+ board. I've decided to go with Kingston HyperX 512MB PC3000. My question is: should I get a single stick of 512 ($84 at googlegear) or two sticks of 256 ($49 each at googlegear)? What is the difference between having a single stick at 512 and two sticks at 256?
Also, I currently have a single stick of Kingston 256mb PC2100 ValueRam. How will having another higher quality and faster speed stick of pc3000 effect my performance? I ask because I currently can't get my FSB over 140mhz (running a Tbred B 2100+), and I'm hoping this new ram will help me out in that field.
Thanks
