I'll get Dug to check it out 😉

Although in reality IIRC he's still on an Athlon XP and wouldn't be able to use it....guess he'd just have to pass it on to me. 😎

how much would that be in US dollars?

You can try this currency convertor. Bear in mind we have a 10% GST here that consumers pay - this would need to be removed and whatever GST, VAT or sales tax you pay where you live added.

One Australian dollar is roughly 0.81 US cents, which is on the high side. On the other the hand its 6.32 Chinese Yuan, which is probably more important to Treasury given how much coal & mineral ore we supply to china.

you guys need to remember, Aussie prices are considerably higher than US prices even when converted....we get taxed and overcharged to the sh!t house when it comes to PC parts....

My advice as somebody who works in the Australian PC retail market...by from the US, you'll save heaps.

that is a ripoff ;( you can get a X1950pro in Australia for $250.

show me where...most places sell them for around AU$330-350 for the PCI-E model and AU$400+ for the AGP model.

so .... it appears that nvidia is also waiting for AMD's family launch ... and stocking up product

how refreshing for a change
