Hmm, not bad. I get about 4500 '06 3dmarks with my X1900AIW stock, so going by his score of 5300, I'd have to approximate that this card performs in between my card and an X1900XT.

How many shaders is the 8600GTS supposed to have? I didn't see them posted anywhere...and won't there be an 8600 Ultra, or is this as high as the 8600 series goes?

There will be an 8600GT above this card. I can't imagine nvidia keeping costly to manufacture 8800 GTS 320's around for long after these cards launch officially.
