According to the game I bought I need a Radeon 8500 or above. What is that equivelent to in GeForce? I only have $100 to spend on a new card.
I have a Radeon right now. No number, when I bought it Radeon's didn't have number. It was a 64MB Radeon VIVO.
Any suggestions?

8500> 5200
8500 is roughly equal to a ti500
the 9600p is a decent card and miles ahead of your Radeon 64 DDR VIVO (7000) and will still play the latest games (6x8 or 10x7 Med details; maybe a little less in Doom III) without sacrificing the lighting or other dx9 eyecandy (that you are completely missing now).Originally posted by: SBGTF
the reason I asked was because I wanted to see what my options were. From the posts it sounds like my best bet is the 9600 Pro. This is basically to tied me over until I can get an X800 or 6800GT, but I wont have the money til XMAS and I want to play games now.
Actually his card is a lower clocked version of the 7500. The 7000 is the radeon VE with only 1 pipeline!the 9600p is a decent card and miles ahead of your Radeon 64 DDR VIVO (7000)
