This game is ridiculously amazing and addictive. I don't quite understand why--b/c 90% of the time you are just digging.

Imagine if this game had been released on SNES way back when. I wonder what today's games would be like...

Given you have to click a block to mine and place things, I don't see it working on the SNES :p

So far the toughest thing I've encountered in this game is mining metorite solo. Holy frig its hard with those stupid fireballs. If you get 2 people it isn't too bad.

Yeah, that's what I ended up doing. But solo'ing one without dynamite is a serious challenge.

Yes, something like that never would have worked, which is why they never had anything like that at all on the SNES.

Oh, wait..

heh. first time I played Sim City was SNES. o_O

but with Terraria, you do have to move your character around on top of selecting individual bricks. rather difficult to do with only one crosshair/directional pad.

Sim City is just one cursor.

There was a snes mouse.

i was going to mention that, but couldn't remember if that was a figment of my mis-imagination or not.

Mario Paint, right?

Terraria would have been nice to give the system a second use for that device, heh.

Yup, the mouse came with Mario Paint, or as we all know it today, MS Paint lol
