Thanks for the stats, Peter! 🙂
Looks quite close though, right?
Yes, indeed. Now is the Grand Finale - which may decide the race! :whiste:

v6 client? If so, max packet size "big" and advmethods turned off?
If you post the "startup" portion of the log file, I might be able to help.
Yes, you need the max packet size, or it will never send you a bigadv. Also, it you don't do the below, it will pre-download new packets, and unless you finish then in less than a day, you will miss the deadline for a bonus every time.v7 client, "client-type" => "bigadv" is the only option set. do I need to set max packet size?
I had to turn off all of my production boxes except for my VM. Yes, I'm running F@H on a ESXi server... because it's a E5-2650 16C/32T + 64GB of RAM monster. Too bad the E5-2665 box got dedicated to a storage appliance (Solaris!) and my 48 core box was overloaded so I had to shut off F@H (running VM + PXE duty and I was setting up 2 dozen machines yesterday).
On a side note, completely OT.... I HATE DEBIAN PRESEEDING! Why you do everything via a normal kickstart? Why do I need to use a KS + SEED? BLAH! (I have to set up a software RAID, which works in kickstart, but not in Debian seeds. Setting up a CentOS server is so much easier to automate).

Add the slot option next-unit-percentage and set it to 100.

Is the Opteron getting some good points for you at at this point?
Last year nearly all my folders were VMs (12 or 18 vCPU), and even this year my 2600k is an ESXi box 🙂
Well, I've been passed by 2 people! So much for my strong start! 😛
Thanks for the stats!
I am very new to folding(this race is my first time using it), but I've had several issues so far this month with either very strange PPD, or things just not working right and I was hoping you guys could give me some insight.
For example: right now both GTX 460's are running at 99% usage. The temps are well in line and it's running at the right core speed, so I know it's not throttling down or anything like that. The one is working on project 7626, and shows an ETA of 128 days, for a PPD of 109. The other GTX 460 is working on project 7624, and shows an ETA of 351 days, for a PPD of 38. Now, before today, my GTX 460's were averaging > 15,000 PPD each.
I'm pretty sure I can delete them out of my work folder and it will get new units, but does it negatively affect your score to do so? And why out of the blue would it go from 15,000 PPD to 38?
Thanks!
Also, THANKS PETER for all the effort you put into these races. 🙂
I'm not running any 7624s right now but some time ago I ran into a similar situation and had to delete the work folder to clear things up. I would if I were you. It won't affect your score other than get you back into production. 🙂
Occasionally they put out a "bad" WU and when you get one just get by it asap.
