F/A-18 Hornets are 99% composite... and yet withstand mach 1.5 flight and way over 9g's... and are VERY survivable in combat....

we had one fly back with half its ass end missing and the composite ws strong enough to get him home even after major damage..
Streangh of composite is a non issue...

Now THAT is cool! The wingspan is a little wider than the 747, I wonder if it would fit on standard runways? Where would first class be I wonder, in the middle or on the sides?

yup, tool of ww2 sabotage. mercury + aluminum = uncontrolled oxidation. a few hours and ur plane will fall apart.. too much faith in aluminum😉
