A 7900GTO is a much better deal though, and none of these compares to the 1900XT.

ORLY? My passive cooled XFX 7950GT runs @ 600/1600 (51C idle & 65C load temps) and outperforms the x1900xt in a majority of the benchmarks. My card is also silent, doesn't have heat problems, draws less power, comes w/ full HDCP support, and a double lifetime warranty.
7950GT (default clocks) vs. X1900XT
The EVGA 7900GTO is a great deal for sleeper GTX even though it comes with the frowned upon Sansung memory.
Don't get me wrong, the X1900XT is a nice card and has been available for quite some time, but not everyone is an ATI fanboi and fps aren't everything.

Not to give the impression that I agree with that idiot, but the article you linked to concludes that the X1900XT is the better value & most
of the benchmarks show it to also be faster, which agrees with all the other credible benchmarks I've seen.
Further, if you are comparing the overclocked results of the 7950GT, perhaps it would be better to compare them to an oveclocked X1900XT to get the full picture... also be sure to show minimum fps & set the Nvidia driver to HQ.
Nice overclock on that GT btw... what kind of temps do you get on the core under load?

Then ATI wins hands down.

I hope all you power draw freaks are also under volting your 3800+ energy efficient CPU's in your rooms powered by your florescent light bulbs...
LOL at all this POWER draw bullsh!t

john what about the voltage and memory mods of 7900gt ? could the same be done to 7950gt ? and also can you tell how much you can overclock your 7950gt at stock cooling ?
